The Riksbank’s name and logo

The Riksbank’s logo is used as a symbol of the Riksbank and forms the basis of the Riksbank’s visual identity. The Riksbank’s logo must not be used in commercial activities without permission. The logo is subject to special legal protection, amongst other things, because it features the small national coat of arms (three crowns). For further information, see Section 1 of the Act (1970:498) on the Protection of Coats of Arms and Certain Other Official Emblems.

Any reference to the Riksbank in advertising or marketing must not be misleading or give the impression that the Riksbank endorses, recommends or has approved a business, product or service.
